German newspaper and magazine "Süddeutsche Zeitung" 2020: 10 artworks from the award winning black and white fine art photography series "dramatic skies" are published with an article about "clouds" in this prestigious german newspaper and magazine.

Trierenberg super circuit "quintessenz (quintessence) - best of 2000-2020": In the last 20 years about 1,500,000 images from photographers around the world were submitted to the "trierenberg super circuit – the world's largest photo art contest". Thereof only about 1,000 masterpieces have been selected for the book "trierenberg super circuit: quintessenz (quintessence) - best of 2000-2020". German fine art photographer Thomas Finkler is honored with 2 artworks in this ultimate collection of fine art photography: "Perfect day", series "dramatic skies", gold medal winner in 2017 and "misty forest" from the series "trees and landscape".
